About our Chapter

The Kapolei Chapter, formerly the Waipahu Chapter, has been providing American Social dance classes since 1969.   The chapter relocated to the Kapolei Elementary School in July 2008.  The new location is  accessible to a large number of west side communities.  Our  members come from Kapolei, Makakilo, Ewa Beach, Waipahu, Kunia and Waianae.  We also have members coming from as far as Honolulu, Mililani and Makaha.

The Kapolei Chapter will carry on Waipahu’s history and years of service with HBDA. This year marks the chapter’s 40th anniversary, coinciding with HBDA’s 50th anniversary.
